Although humankind has tremendous potential for good, we are marred by our sinful nature that separates us from God and causes us to fall short of the fullness of life He intends for us.

Isaiah 64:6, Galatians 2:16, Romans 3:20, Romans 4:5, Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5, Romans 9:16, Philippians 3:8-9
