Our Church

Ontario Community Church is a multi-ethnic and multi-generational church that began in the 1940s.
What started out as a Japanese-American church now includes many different kinds of people and we love that. We honor our heritage and our calling by staying focused on what truly matters.

The 3E Pathway

Encouraging, Equipping and Engaging lives for Christ

Encourage love for God and others

Encourage: Encouraging people to love God and love others, grounded in Biblical truth and Christ's teachings. This is accomplished through intentional worship and a welcoming culture. How this looks is through making decisions for Christ and baptism.

John 13:34-45, Ephesians 4:2-3, Mark 12:30-1 and 1 John 4:7-8

Equip believers for spiritual growth

Equip: Equipping people on a path of spiritual growth and learning. This is accomplished through studying scripture, community, and learning how to be a Christian. This is accomplished through church membership, small groups, Bible study and learning about spirutual gifting.

Hebrews 4:12, Colossians 3:16, 2 Timothy 3:16-17 and Romans 12:2.

Engage people to serve and share their faith

Engage: Inspire people to reach their God-given potential by serving others and sharing their faith. This is the call to serve the church, the community and to share their faith with others.

1 Peter 4:10, Matthew 28:19-20, Matthew 25:40 and Galatians 5:13.

“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”

Visiting a new church can be scary

But we really are a friendly bunch. Our services usually consist of some music (in all kinds of styles), a practical and thoughtful message, and some optional visiting over coffee and snacks. We’d love to have you visit our church family! Our services start at 10 am. We do have childcare through elementary ages.
